This was part of OverTheTop Fest's Friday Night "secret" ninja-late-show. I think NYC's Japanther were my favorite of the entire festival weekend. I knew that they would be punkrock, but there was also a cool element of loose thumpy surf-punk bass that boosted them above the normal pack of that genre and really appealed to me - made me want to kick myself in the head for missing their set the night before. This one was just too short, but generated some of my favourite photos to date. (Photo technique - widest angle lens in the bag, and lay on the floor at their feet. Hardcore.)
