Luke Doucet @ the Dakota Tavern, Toronto - I know, I know, I haven't updated this thing in forever. But I have good excuses! Within the span of 3 weeks I moved into a grand 130 year old house, quit my corporate job (hi, hire me), and turned a decade older. It's bizzy times. Anyway, here's a lovely one from the first show of Mr. Doucet's 4-show residency at the Dakota. Gosh I adore that place. Every Tuesday throughout August Luke is debuting new songs from his forthcoming album, and that night introduced a new not-so-new drummer: fellow Veal bandmate Chang is now sitting in!
