VPN Installation & Configuration for Windows 2000

Installation

1.	Right click My Network Place icon

2.	In the drop-down menu, select Properties 

3.	Delete any old VPN icons if exist.

4.	Double click Make New Connection icon

5.	Network Connection Wizard should start, click Next to continue

6.	Select the 3rd option Connect to a private network through the Internet and click Next

7.	Select Do not dial the initial connection and click Next to continue

8.	Enter vpn1.keen.com in the “Host Name or IP Address” box

9.	Click Next to accept default value in Connection Availability

10.	Rename “Virtual Private Connection” to “Keen VPN”

11.	Place a check mark next to “Add a shortcut to my desktop” option

12.	Click Finish to complete the installation


Configuration

1.	Establish your connection to the Internet (dial-up if you are using a modem).
2.	Launch Keen VPN from desktop and click on Properties button
	
3.	Click on “Security” tab and leave all values to the default.

4.	Check the box which says “Require data encryption (disconnect if none)”
	
5.	Click OK and it’s done.

6.	At last, put your username and password and click Connect
